Storage Conditions Store unreconstituted product at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). After reconstitution, store under refrigeration at 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F) and use within 8 weeks.
Dosages

Dog

  • 0.17 mg moxidectin/kg (0.077 mg/lb) body weight (0.05 mL of reconstituted suspension per kg BW) (Subcutaneous (SC) injection) — Administer once every 6 months
Withdrawal Periods —
Indications
  • Prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis for 6 full months in dogs 6 months of age and older.
  • Treatment of existing larval and adult hookworm infections caused by Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala.
Contraindications
  • Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
  • Do not use in dogs less than 6 months of age.
  • Do not use in sick, debilitated, underweight dogs or dogs with a history of weight loss.
Precautions
  • Dogs must be tested for existing heartworm infections prior to administration. Use with caution in dogs with pre-existing allergic conditions.
Side Effects
  • Lethargy, anorexia, fever, vomiting, injection site swelling or granuloma, transient facial edema or urticaria.
