  • 1 mL administered intramuscularly (Intramuscular (IM)) — Administer 1 mL, repeat with a second dose 3 to 4 weeks later; revaccinate annually

Indications
  • Active immunization of healthy horses 10 months of age or older as an aid in the prevention of viremia and encephalitis caused by West Nile virus.
Contraindications
  • Do not vaccinate clinically ill or febrile horses.
Precautions
  • Epinephrine should be available in the event of an allergic anaphylactic response.
Side Effects
  • Mild muscle stiffness or localized sensitivity at the injection site lasting 24-48 hours.
