Dosages

Poultry

  • Chickens: 200 to 400 mg/gallon drinking water; Turkeys: 400 mg/gallon drinking water (Oral (in drinking water)) — Administer for 7 to 14 consecutive days

Swine

  • 10 mg/lb body weight daily (in drinking water) (Oral (in drinking water)) — Administer for 3 to 5 consecutive days

Cattle

  • Calves: 10 mg/lb body weight daily administered in drinking water or milk replacer (Oral (in water or milk replacer)) — Administer for 3 to 5 consecutive days

Indications
  • Control and treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sac infections in chickens caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and E. coli.
  • Treatment of infectious synovitis in chickens and turkeys caused by Mycoplasma synoviae.
  • Treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours) and pneumonia in swine and calves.
Contraindications
  • Do not use in laying chickens producing eggs for human food. Do not administer to calves to be processed for veal.
Precautions
  • Prepare fresh drinking water solutions daily. Ensure medication is sole source of drinking water during treatment.
Side Effects
  • Occasional transient gastrointestinal upset or loose feces at higher dosages.
