Cydectin Pour-On

Cydectin (moxidectin 0.5% w/v, 5 mg/mL) Pour-On is a broad-spectrum endectocide for beef and dairy cattle. Indicated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, cattle grubs, sucking and chewing lice, and mange mites. Delivers extended persistent activity against major internal parasites and has zero milk discard.

Indications

Treatment and control of adult and larval gastrointestinal roundworms (Ostertagia ostertagi, Cooperia oncophora, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Oesophagostomum radiatum).

Treatment and control of lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus) with persistent activity for 42 days.

Treatment and control of cattle grubs (Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum), sucking lice, chewing lice, and Chorioptic mange mites.
Contraindications

Do not apply to areas of skin contaminated with mud, manure, or skin lesions.

Do not administer orally or parenterally.

Moxidectin is toxic to aquatic organisms; dispose of containers safely.

Keep out of reach of children.
Side Effects

Well tolerated; occasional transient skin dryness or hair flaking along the line of application.
