Poulvac Maternavac 4 is an inactivated multivalent water-in-oil emulsion vaccine for broiler breeder and layer parent stock. Contains chemically inactivated Bursal Disease (standard and variant strains), Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis (Massachusetts type), and Avian Reovirus (strains 1733 & 2408) to provide uniform maternal antibody transfer to progeny.

Indications

Vaccination of breeding hens to induce high and uniform levels of maternal antibodies in progeny against Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro), Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis, and Reovirus (malabsorption and viral tenosynovitis).
Contraindications

Do not inject into birds during active egg laying.
Precautions

Accidental human self-injection of oil-adjuvanted poultry vaccines requires immediate medical attention.
Side Effects

Slight transient swelling at the injection site in breast or neck.
