Revolution Plus (selamectin and sarolaner topical solution) is a broad-spectrum 6-in-1 monthly topical parasiticide for cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older weighing 2.8 lbs or greater. Indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease, killing adult fleas, treatment and control of ticks, ear mites, roundworms, and hookworms.

Indications

Prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis in cats.
Treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) for one month.
Treatment and control of tick infestations (Ixodes scapularis, Amblyomma maculatum, Dermacentor variabilis) for one month.
Treatment and control of ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations.
Treatment and control of roundworm (Toxocara cati) and intestinal hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) infections.

Contraindications

Do not use in cats less than 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 2.8 lbs.

Precautions

Sarolaner is an isoxazoline; use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders or seizures.
Do not apply to broken skin. Avoid direct contact with fingers.

Side Effects

Most common side effects include transient localized alopecia, anorexia, lethargy, and pruritus at application site.
