ScourGuard 4KC is a killed virus vaccine and bacterin-toxoid for the vaccination of healthy pregnant cows and heifers as an aid in preventing neonatal calf diarrhea (scours) caused by Bovine Rotavirus (serotypes G6 and G10), Bovine Coronavirus, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (K99 pili), and Clostridium perfringens Type C enterotoxemia via maternal colostral antibody transfer.

Vaccination of healthy pregnant cows and heifers to provide maternal antibodies in colostrum against neonatal calf diarrhea caused by Bovine Rotavirus, Bovine Coronavirus, and E. coli K99.
Aid in preventing enterotoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens Type C in calves nursing vaccinated cows.
Do not vaccinate calves directly; administered strictly to pregnant dams for colostral passive immunity transfer.
Calves must consume adequate colostrum within the first hours of life for passive immunity transfer.
Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives.
Transient local swelling or stiffness at injection site; rare allergic or anaphylactoid reaction.
