Indications

  • Acute respiratory tract infections, pneumonia, calf diphtheria, foot rot, acute mastitis, metritis, and bacterial enteritis in cattle, horses, sheep, goats, swine, and dogs.

    عدوى الجهاز التنفسي الحادة، الالتهاب الرئوي، خناق العجول، عفن الحافر، التهاب الضرع والرحم، والتهاب الأمعاء البكتيري في الأبقار والخيول والأغنام والكلاب.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or trimethoprim. Severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, blood dyscrasias.

    فرط الحساسية للسلفوناميدات أو التريميثوبريم. القصور الكبدي أو الكلوي الشديد، واعتلالات الدم.

Precautions

  • Provide free access to drinking water during therapy to prevent crystalluria. Administer slow IV when using intravenous route.

    توفير مياه الشرب بحرية لتجنب تكون بلورات السلفا في البول. يُحقن بالوريد ببطء.

Side Effects

  • Transient swelling at injection site; rarely, hypersensitivity reactions.

    تورم موضعي عابر في موضع الحقن؛ ونادراً ردود فعل تحسسية.
