Terramycin 200 for Injection is a sterile, ready-to-use solution containing 200 mg oxytetracycline base per mL. Indicated in beef cattle, non-lactating dairy cattle, and swine for the treatment of pneumonia, shipping fever, pinkeye, foot rot, diphtheria, bacterial enteritis, and systemic wound infections caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms.

Indications

Treatment of bovine respiratory disease (shipping fever complex) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida.

Treatment of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (pinkeye) caused by Moraxella bovis.

Treatment of foot rot, wooden tongue, and acute metritis in cattle.

Treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours) and pneumonia in swine.
Contraindications

Do not use in lactating dairy cattle producing milk for human food.

Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
Precautions

Intramuscular injection may result in localized tissue irritation; use proper injection technique.
Side Effects

Local muscle discoloration and transient swelling at the injection site.
