Based on clinical examination, California Mastitis Test, and bacterial culture.
Treatment
Antibiotic therapy based on culture and sensitivity, combined with frequent milking out and anti-inflammatory support.
Prevention
Herd hygiene, proper milking technique, and dry-cow therapy.
