In dogs, cats and chinchillas: treatment of dermatomycoses.
موانع الاستخدام
Do not administer to pregnant females or young animals less than 12 weeks of age. Do not use in animals with known allergy to griseofulvin. Do not use in animals with impaired hepatic function.
الاحتياطات
Administer with a fat-enriched meal to improve gastrointestinal absorption. Use with caution in cats infected with feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) because of possible iatrogenic neutropenia. Griseofulvin is teratogenic and must not be administered to pregnant females. Concomitant use with ketoconazole or phenylbutazone should be avoided; barbiturates may reduce absorption and antifungal activity.
الآثار الجانبية
Very rare gastrointestinal disorders, hepatotoxicity, haematopoietic disorders and skin reactions may occur. Very rare neurological disorders such as ataxia have been reported in cats.
