Colistin Sulphate is a bactericidal polypeptide antibiotic powder containing Colistin sulphate (5,000,000 IU/g) specifically active against Gram-negative enteric pathogens, primarily E. coli and Salmonella, in poultry, calves, and lambs.

Prophylaxis and treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by non-invasive Gram-negative bacteria, especially colibacillosis and salmonellosis in broilers, layers, calves, and lambs.
الوقاية والعلاج من عدوى الجهاز الهضمي الناتجة عن البكتيريا سالبة الجرام وخاصة الإسهال القولوني والسالمونيلا في الدواجن والعجول والحملان.
موانع الاستخدام

Hypersensitivity to polymyxins. Severe renal insufficiency. Not absorbed orally; contraindicated for systemic/parenteral therapy.
فرط الحساسية للبوليميكسينات. الفشل الكلوي الحاد. لا يُمتص فموياً ولا يستخدم لعلاج العدوى الجهازية العامة.

Prepare fresh medicated solution daily. Restrict use strictly to gastrointestinal tract indications.
يُحضر محلول الشرب يومياً. يقتصر استخدامه بدقة على عدوى الجهاز الهضمي.

Very safe orally due to negligible systemic absorption; rarely mild digestive upset at elevated dosages.
