ظروف التخزين Store at controlled room temperature 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Use within 90 days of first puncture. Refrigerator storage (2°C-8°C) before administration reduces stinging/pain upon subcutaneous injection.

Dog

  • 1.0 mg/kg (0.1 mL/10 kg) (Subcutaneous (SC) or Intravenous (IV)) — Once daily for up to 5 consecutive days

Cat

  • 1.0 mg/kg (0.1 mL/10 kg) (Subcutaneous (SC) or Intravenous (IV)) — Once daily for up to 5 consecutive days

  • Prevention and treatment of acute vomiting in dogs and cats.
  • Prevention of vomiting associated with pre-anesthetic use of emetogenic medications (such as morphine or hydromorphone) in dogs.
موانع الاستعمال
  • Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to maropitant.
  • Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age or kittens under 16 weeks of age.

  • Use with caution in animals with suspected or known gastrointestinal foreign body or obstruction.
  • Use with caution in patients with hepatic dysfunction, as maropitant is primarily metabolized by the liver.
  • Safety has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs or cats.
الآثار الجانبية
  • Pain or stinging sensation at the subcutaneous injection site.
  • Lethargy, anorexia, diarrhea, or ataxia in rare cases.
