Synotic Otic Solution is a specialized topical ear formulation containing fluocinolone acetonide 0.01% and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) 60% in propylene glycol. Indicated for the rapid relief of pruritus and inflammation associated with acute and chronic otitis in dogs, utilizing DMSO as a pharmaceutical penetration enhancer.

Do not use in dogs with ruptured tympanic membranes.

Do not use in pregnant bitches (corticosteroids and DMSO may cause teratogenic effects).
الاحتياطات

Wear gloves when applying due to rapid transdermal absorption of DMSO. Discontinue if signs of systemic corticosteroid excess or local irritation occur.

Transient stinging sensation on inflamed ear tissue, garlic-like breath odor from DMSO, polyuria/polydipsia.
