Tetanus antitoxin up to 100000 IU

Chlorpromazine or acepromazine

Hydrogen peroxide irrigation and topical penicillin

Prevention & Control

Proper wound and instrument disinfection

Vaccination with tetanus toxoid

Booster one month before parturition

Neonatal antitoxin administration

Passive antitoxin after injury
