Indications

  • Active immunization of healthy chickens against Newcastle disease.

Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate clinically ill or heavily parasitized flocks.

Precautions

  • Live Newcastle virus can cause transient mild conjunctivitis in human handlers; wear eye and face protection during aerosol administration.

Side Effects

  • Mild transient post-vaccinal respiratory snicking 4 to 6 days after vaccination.
