Spirovac VL5 is an inactivated bacterin containing chemically inactivated cultures of Campylobacter fetus (vibriosis) and Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo (L. borgpetersenii serovar Hardjo), L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona. Indicated for the vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in preventing campylobacteriosis (vibriosis) and leptospirosis, including renal colonization and urinary shedding of L. hardjo.

Indications

  • Vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in preventing reproductive disease caused by Campylobacter fetus (vibriosis) and Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona.

Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate clinically sick animals.

Precautions

  • Contains thimerosal as preservative. In case of anaphylaxis, administer epinephrine.

Side Effects

  • Transient local swelling or temporary stiffness may occur.
