Indications
Treatment of protozoal diseases susceptible to dimetridazole in pigeons; in racing pigeons, treatment of infestations with Trichomonas gallinae or Trichomonas columbae.
Contraindications
Do not administer to animals whose meat or products are intended for human consumption. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to dimetridazole or any excipient.
Precautions
Do not exceed the prescribed dose. During periods of high heat or during feeding, compensate for increased water consumption by reducing the dosage by 20–40%.
Side Effects
None known. In overdose, motor incoordination and weight loss may occur.
