Precautions
Use should be based on susceptibility testing of bacteria isolated from the farm where possible, or on local/regional/farm epidemiological susceptibility information. Do not use to compensate for poor hygiene or management. Deviating from the instructions may increase antimicrobial resistance and cross-resistance. Official national and regional antimicrobial policies should be considered. Avoid combining with bacteriostatic antibiotics.
Side Effects
Undetermined frequency: diarrhoea, disorder of gastrointestinal flora associated with selection of resistant bacteria, and vomiting. At marked overdose, increased water consumption, decreased feed intake and watery faeces have been reported.
