Bovi-Shield GOLD FP 5 VL5 is a freeze-dried preparation of modified live IBR, BVD (Types 1 and 2), PI3, and BRSV viruses, packaged with a liquid bacterin of Campylobacter fetus (vibriosis) and Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona. Demonstrated Fetal Protection (FP) against IBR abortions and BVD persistent fetal infection.

Indications

Vaccination of healthy cows and heifers prior to breeding to prevent IBR-induced abortion, BVD persistently infected calves, vibriosis caused by Campylobacter fetus, and leptospirosis.
Contraindications

Do not use in pregnant cows unless vaccinated with Bovi-Shield GOLD FP within the past 12 months.
Precautions

Shake well after reconstitution. Epinephrine should be available in case of anaphylactoid reaction.
Side Effects

Mild temporary swelling at the injection site.
