Storage Conditions Store at controlled room temperature between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), with excursions permitted between 15°C to 40°C (59°F to 104°F). Protect from moisture.
Dosages

Dog

  • 0.4 to 0.6 mg oclacitinib/kg body weight (Oral (PO)) — Twice daily for up to 14 days, then once daily for maintenance

Indications
  • Control of pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs at least 12 months of age.
  • Control of atopic dermatitis in dogs at least 12 months of age.
Contraindications
  • Do not use in dogs less than 12 months of age.
  • Do not use in dogs with serious infections.
  • Do not use in breeding dogs, pregnant, or lactating bitches.
Precautions
  • Apoquel modulates the immune system and may increase susceptibility to infections, including demodicosis and neoplasia.
  • Monitor dogs receiving long-term treatment with complete blood counts and serum chemistry periodically.
Side Effects
  • Most common side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, lethargy, and localized skin infections.
