  • 2 mL subcutaneous (SC) injection into the neck immediately behind the base of the ear (Subcutaneous (SC)) — Two-dose program: First dose at least 4 weeks prior to the second dose; second dose 4 to 6 weeks before slaughter

Indications
  • Immunological alternative to physical castration for the reduction of boar taint (androstenone and skatole) in entire male pigs.
  • Reduction of aggressive and sexual mounting behavior in male pigs.
Contraindications
  • Do not administer to female breeding pigs or male breeding boars intended for reproduction.
Precautions
  • CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING: Accidental self-injection may produce temporary loss of fertility or reproductive endocrine disruption in humans. Pregnant women must not administer this product.
  • Must only be administered using the approved Zoetis safety injector with needle guard.
Side Effects
  • Transient local swelling at the injection site in up to 20-30% of pigs which resolves over 1-2 weeks.
