Storage Conditions Store and transport refrigerated (2°C - 8°C). Protect from light. Do not freeze. Use within 4 hours after reconstitution.

  • Reconstitute lyophilisate with solvent and administer 2 mL intramuscularly in the neck musculature (Intramuscular (IM)) — Single dose from 1 day of age; breeding gilts/sows vaccinated prior to mating

Indications
  • Active immunization of clinically healthy pigs from 1 day of age to reduce viraemia and nasal shedding caused by infection with European (Type 1) strains of PRRS virus.
  • Reduction of lung lesions and clinical respiratory disease associated with PRRS in fattening pigs.
Contraindications
  • Do not use in PRRS-negative herds where the presence of PRRS virus has not been established.
  • Do not vaccinate clinically diseased pigs.
Precautions
  • Vaccine virus may spread to in-contact pigs for several weeks following vaccination; adhere to biosecurity protocols.
Side Effects
  • Transient rise in rectal temperature (up to 1.5°C) within 24 hours of vaccination, resolving spontaneously.
