Dectomax Pour-On (doramectin) is a clear, blue-tinted solution containing 5 mg doramectin per mL (0.5% w/v). Formulated for topical application along the midline of the back in beef and dairy cattle. Provides broad-spectrum antiparasitic control against gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, grubs, biting and sucking lice, mange mites, and horn flies with prolonged residual efficacy.

Indications

Treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms (Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Cooperia oncophora, Oesophagostomum radiatum).

Treatment and control of lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus) and eyeworms (Thelazia spp.).

Control of warble grubs (Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum), sucking and biting lice (Damalinia bovis, Linognathus vituli), mange mites (Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei), and horn flies (Haematobia irritans).
Contraindications

Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older (milk safety).

Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

Doramectin is extremely toxic to aquatic life; dispose of containers responsibly to prevent contamination of waterways.
Side Effects

Occasional temporary hair loss or minor skin irritation along the backline.
