Fostera Gold PCV contains two distinct porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) genotype constructs—PCV2a and PCV2b—expressed via a killed baculovirus vector system in an oil-in-water emulsion with Amphigen. Indicated for the vaccination of healthy pigs 3 days of age or older as an aid in preventing PCV2 viremia, lymphoid depletion, and colonization of lymphoid tissue, and as an aid in reducing PCV2 nasal and fecal shedding.
