INFORCE 3 is an intranasal modified-live viral respiratory vaccine that protects healthy beef and dairy cattle, including newborn calves and pregnant cows, against respiratory diseases caused by Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV), Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), and Parainfluenza 3 (PI3).

Indications

  • Vaccination of healthy cattle, including newborn calves and pregnant cows, as an aid in preventing respiratory disease caused by BRSV, and as an aid in the prevention of IBR and PI3.

Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate unhealthy or severely stressed calves.

  • Do not sterilize syringes or needles with chemical disinfectants as this may inactivate the modified-live virus.

Precautions

  • Safe for use in newborn calves, pregnant cows, and calves nursing pregnant cows.

  • Contains gentamicin as a preservative.

  • Use entire contents once rehydrated; do not save partially used vials.

Side Effects

  • Transient mild nasal discharge, sneezing, or temporary fever post-vaccination.
