Strongid C 2X is an alfalfa-meal-based pelleted feed premix containing pyrantel tartrate (9.6 g/lb / 2.11%) for continuous daily administration to horses. Indicated for the prevention of Strongylus vulgaris larval infestation, control of large strongyles (S. vulgaris, S. edentatus), small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), and ascarids (Parascaris equorum).
