Strongid Paste (pyrantel pamoate) is a pale yellow to buff oral anthelmintic paste containing 43.6% w/w pyrantel pamoate (equivalent to 151 mg pyrantel base per gram). Indicated for the removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, and large roundworms in horses and ponies.

Indications

Removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus) in horses.

Removal of small strongyles (Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp.), pinworms (Oxyuris equi), and large roundworms (Parascaris equorum).
Contraindications

Do not use in horses severely debilitated or suffering from bowel obstruction without veterinary direction.
Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. For oral equine use only.

High therapeutic index; no adverse reactions observed even at multiple therapeutic overdoses.
