Vanguard Plus 5 is a modified live virus core vaccine for vaccination of healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older as an aid in preventing canine distemper caused by canine distemper virus (CDV), infectious canine hepatitis caused by canine adenovirus type 1 (CAV-1), respiratory disease caused by canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2), canine parainfluenza caused by canine parainfluenza virus (CPIV), and canine parvoviral enteritis caused by canine parvovirus (CPV-2 and CPV-2c).

Contains gentamicin as a preservative. Epinephrine should be available in case of rare post-vaccinal anaphylactoid reactions.
