Rispoval 4 is a quadrivalent bovine respiratory vaccine containing modified-live Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV) and Parainfluenza 3 (PI3) virus, combined with inactivated Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus (BVD Types 1 and 2) and Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus. Indicated for the active immunization of calves and cattle to reduce viral respiratory shedding and lung lesions.

Indications

  • Active immunization of cattle from 3 weeks of age to reduce virus shedding and respiratory clinical signs caused by BRSV, PI3, BVD, and IBR.

  • Aids in the prevention of leukopenia and viremia caused by BVD virus Types 1 and 2.

Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate sick, febrile, or severely stressed cattle.

Precautions

  • Reconstitute immediately before use; use entire contents within 2 hours.

  • In case of anaphylaxis, administer epinephrine.

Side Effects

  • Transient mild swelling at injection site (up to 2-3 cm) resolving within 1-2 weeks; minor transient temperature increase.
